Our guesthouse offers comfortable, close-to-nature relaxation for 4-6 people in the heart of the Zala Hills, in Nagybakónak – a secluded little village embraced by two mountains and connected to the outside world only by an eight-kilometer road. On the top of Öreghegy stands KICIKLA Fire & Wine, our island of peace – which we now share with you.
Upstairs, there is a spacious, panoramic bedroom with a huge double bed and private bathroom – with a stunning view of the valley.
On the ground floor, there is a cozy living room, a well-equipped kitchen and a smaller room with a pull-out sofa (140 cm wide), ideal for 2 children or smaller adults. A separate toilet and shower ensure comfort.
The cellar room is a real speciality: up to 12 people can sit here to chat over a glass of wine, have a snack or just immerse themselves in the silence.
You can grill on the terrace (Weber grill provided) while enjoying the colors of the sunset. Deer roam the garden, the night sky shines clear, and the silence is truly healing.
The story of KICIKLA was born from a desire: to leave the noise of the city and find something cleaner, simpler. Once a small cellar without water and electricity – today it is a lovingly renovated refuge where you can arrive… to yourself.

Modern comfort – spiced up with the magic of fire
KICIKLA takes care of you not only with its special location, but also with its comfortable equipment. On both levels of the house, underfloor heating and air conditioning ensure comfortable relaxation regardless of the season. At the same time, we did not want to let go of the magic of the warmth of a natural fire.
On the ground floor, a tiled stove ensures a cozy atmosphere – here, not only the warmth, but also the sight of a blazing fire is part of the experience. In the wine cellar, if a larger group gathers, the roar of a wood-burning stove also makes the moments spent together feel homely.
And on the terrace, there is a special Weber Grill Fireplace, an outdoor fireplace, where you can make a campfire, grill, or just immerse yourself in the play of fire in the sunset light. Even on colder evenings, you can stay outside for a long time, warming yourself by the flames, while the stars shine – and maybe even a glass of wine in your hand.
