In the morning you are awakened by birdsong, during the day you are surrounded by the silence of the forest, and in the evening you rest under the stars by the fire. Here you can hear your own thoughts again – without conformity and rush. Kicikla is not just a house, but another world, where you can finally arrive at yourself.
The story of the Kicikla
In the heart of the Zala Hills, nestled between two mountains – Öreghegy and Pupi – lies Nagybakó, a hamlet connected to the outside world by only an eight-kilometer road.
On top of Öreghegy stands Kicikla, our island of peace, which we now share with others. Our story was born from a dream: leaving the noise of the city behind, we found this place, where an old cellar without electricity and water became our home – candlelight, spring water, a tiled stove, stars, and the sounds of the forest filled our evenings.
Kicikla is now renovated and awaits all those who would like to slow down, relax, and hear themselves again. Nature is the master here, deer roam the garden, the stars shine brightly, and the silence truly heals – with the warmth of the fire and a glass of wine.

Nagybakónak and the charm of the surroundings
Nagybakónak is a secluded, charming village in Zala County, just 15 km from Nagykanizsa. The settlement, hidden among hills and forests, exudes a special atmosphere, and its wildlife – roe deer, deer, rabbits – is a paradise for nature lovers. Its outstanding attraction is the wildly romantic Kőszikla Gorge, and the forest area called Héthatár is the meeting point of seven villages. Its history dates back to the 13th century; according to legend, King Béla IV donated the village to his loyal Bakó. The tranquility, the proximity of nature and the feeling of timelessness make this place special.

The living space is 80 sqm and includes a 100 sqm terrace. It is ideally suited for 4 adults, with enough space for a maximum of 4 adults and 2 small children.
As a pet-friendly establishment, it is possible to accommodate small pets (up to 10 kg).
The minimum booking period is 1 day.
Smoking is PROHIBITED throughout the house.
